VEGAN CHOCOLATE PIE: Cooking with The Giggles

 

 

Hi everyone!

The Giggles here with our first recipe. We thought we would do something easy and dangerously delicious. You'll never guess what's in it!

VEGAN CHOCOLATE PIE

Vegan (and gluten-free) Chocolate Pie is for everyone.

OR you can pick up some of our Giggle Butter : Peanut Butter & Jelly flavor. For this recipe, this is what we used but you can also use your own infused coconut oil.

 

VEGAN CHOCOLATE PIE


Filling:
1 Avocado
1 package Soft Tofu
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
1 cup Coconut Sugar
1 cup Cocoa Powder
1/4 tsp Agar Powder (or other thickener)
1/4 cup Agave Syrup
1/4 cup Honey (replace with agave for the hardcore vegans)
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup Soy Milk (or any milk-substitute)
5 tsp Giggle Butter or your infused oil - feel free to customize your dosage
{5 tsp Giggle Butter is approximately 150mg THC}

Crust: Or buy a crust for immediate gratification.
1 cup Walnuts
1 cup Pitted Dates
1/4 cup Shredded Coconut
Small pinch Nutmeg
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp or pinch of Sea Salt


Optional Toppings:
Strawberries, bananas, blueberries, powdered sugar, chocolate chips, cookie crumbles, etc…


Instructions

Add together all FILLING ingredients in bowl. Place in food processor or blender until integrated. Put back in bowl, cover with clear wrap and set aside in fridge.

Add together CRUST ingredients in bowl. Finely chop by hand or pulse in food processor or blender. Place in pie dish and press firmly on bottom and sides to mold a crust along the pie dish. Any extra crust can be used for a 2nd pie or in a smoothie or oatmeal.

Put the FILLING in the crust and use spatula or spoon to even out across pie dish - depending on pie dish size, you may have enough for two pies.

Add optional toppings to taste. Be creative!

This recipe will keep everyone giggling for multiple reasons. A pie with tofu and avocado? That’s something to giggle about. And infused? #GiggleMore
